  • Myeongnyun 1-beonga (명륜1번가) A dense restaurant-and-bar street that runs off the station, 4 minutes on foot, and the usual place people eat before or after a Lotte Giants game.
  • Dongnae Hyanggyo (동래향교) The Confucian school of old Dongnae, with wooden lecture and shrine halls, a 10-minute walk from the station.

  Exit 4 covers both things most visitors come for: the Myeongnyun 1-beonga restaurant street at 4 minutes and Dongnae Hyanggyo at 10 minutes, so you only need this one staircase.

Dongnae Station is a transfer station between Busan Metro Line 1 and Line 4, both halves sitting under Oncheon-dong in Dongnae-gu, with about 300m of underground corridor separating the two station buildings. The blocks around it are old Dongnae's eating-out and administrative core: the Myeongnyun 1-beonga restaurant street is a 4-minute walk from Exit 4, and Dongnae Hyanggyo, the district's Confucian school, is 10 minutes from the same exit.
