Ferries to Japan

No daytime fast boat to Fukuoka right now

JR Kyushu Fast Ferry announced its withdrawal from the Busan-Fukuoka Queen Beetle route on December 23, 2024 (suspended since August 2024), and Miraejet's Kobee has not sailed it since 2017. The only sea route to Fukuoka today is Camellia Line's overnight ferry - though plenty of stale pages online still sell the fast boat.

The terminal, and getting to it

All four routes leave from the Busan Port International Passenger Terminal (부산항국제여객터미널). From metro Busan Station exit 6, the port authority's signed route - a moving walkway through the railway station, then the harbour pedestrian deck - takes about 20 minutes.
