About this festival
The Jeongwan Ecological Stream Learning Culture Festival is a celebration that teaches visitors the value of nature along the beautiful Jwagwang Stream while bringing families and neighbours together to connect hearts. Through ecological stream experiences, visitors encounter the natural environment of Jwagwang Stream firsthand, while art competitions and literary contests showcase the stream's beauty and stories. A street parade in which all visitors participate and a family walking event foster mutual appreciation, while diverse performances, exhibitions, and experience programmes extend the region's culture and residents' daily lives onto the festival stage. Notably, this festival highlights the beauty and value of the Jwagwang Local Garden, introduces new regional culture where nature and people coexist, and serves as a three-day festival during which visitors learn from nature, connect with one another, enjoy culture, and build together the future of Gijang.
