Gwangalli M(Marvelous) Drone Light Show

About this festival

Held since 2022, the Gwangalli M (Marvelous) Drone Light Show takes its name from the "M" representing "Marvelous", meaning wonderful and awe-inspiring, with the drones' brilliant lights harmonizing with the nighttime scenery of the Gwangalli Bridge, a landmark of Busan, to create a sense of wonder and mystery for visitors to Gwangalli. The show runs twice every Saturday evening for approximately 12 minutes, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. during the winter season (October to February) and at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. during the summer season (March to September), and can be viewed from anywhere along Gwangalli Beach. Regular performances feature 1,100 drones each week, while special occasions such as countdown events, Lunar New Year, and Chuseok see drone shows of up to 3,000 units, with the scale varying accordingly. *Performance schedules may be subject to change depending on weather conditions and other circumstances.
