About this festival

The Busan International Performance Art Festival (B.P.A.F) is a representative street performance art festival held annually in September around Oncheonjeon Stream and Busan University Road in Geumjeong-gu, Busan. The festival uses everyday urban spaces as stages and provides a venue for citizens and domestic and international artists to communicate and exchange through art. The core theme of the 2026 festival is "MOSAIC: Diverse Fragments, One Picture". The event features diverse stages and exhibitions from 28 outstanding performances from within and outside the region, along with various subsidiary programs and an art market in which audiences can directly participate. The Busan International Performance Art Festival is thus a precious opportunity for diverse cultural fragments to come together and create one great artistic harmony.
